Adding a Document Folder or Sub Folder to a Matter
- Click the Documents tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Under the Parent / Root folder, hover over the folder where a sub-folder will be added.
- Click the gear icon.

Click Add Sub Folder.
An empty text box displays.

- Enter a name for the new folder.
- Click Enter.
Renaming a Folder on a Matter
- Click on the Documents tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Under the Parent / Root folder, hover over the folder where a sub-folder will be added.
- Click the gear icon.

Click Rename.
- Enter a name for the folder.
- Click Enter.
Moving a Document Folder on the Matter Overview Page
When you move or rearrange folders, all documents contained within it move as well.
- Click the Documents tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Under the Parent / Root folder, hover over the folder where a sub-folder will be added.
- Click the gear icon.

Select Move.
The Move Folder window displays.
- Select a location to move the folder from the drop-down list.
- Click Save.
Dragging and Dropping a Document Folder to Another Location
- Click the Documents tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Click the folder.

Drag the folder to your desired location.
You can not move a parent folder to its child folder.
The folder locations are updated.
Deleting a Document Folder
When you delete a document folder, all of the documents contained in it will also be deleted.
- Click the Documents tab on the Matter Overview page.
- Under the Parent / Root folder, hover over the folder where a sub-folder will be added.
- Click the gear icon.

Click Delete Folder.
The Delete Folder window displays.
- Click Delete. The folder and any documents it contains are deleted.
