Creating a Subscription from Saved Views
Subscriptions let you automatically deliver up-to-date information by exporting a Saved View as a data file and sending it by email to internal or external recipients
Your organization must have this feature configured. If you do not see it in your profile, contact Customer Care to find out more. In order to use subscriptions you must have created at least one Saved View.
- Click on My Profile under your name to open your profile page.
- Click the vertical three-dotted icon in the corner.

Select Manage Subscriptions.
The Manage Subscriptions page displays.

Click the Add button at the top of the page. The Create Subscription window displays.

Complete all fields as necessary.
Field Description Name Enter a name for the description. This name will be displayed in the email subject when it is sent to the recipient(s). Source Type Select Saved Views or Custom. (Custom view forthcoming) Subscription Type Select the Saved View from the search on which the Source Data is built. (e.g. If the Saved View is a Matter view, select Matters) Source Data Select the Saved View you wish to use. Format CSV is the only format currently available. Access Select Public or Private. Private access allows the subscription owner to add recipients only internal in CounselLink. Public access allows external emails as well. Description Provide your description for the subscription. Text entered here will be displayed in the email. Start Date Select the date for the subscription to begin. Daily, Weekly, Monthly Select the tab with which you would like your report sent. Note: Time is in PST zone.
- Daily - For use if you'd like to send it on a daily basis. Select the days between that it will be sent, and the PST time.
- Weekly - Select the day(s) which you would like the report sent and at what PST time.
- Monthly - If you are sending a report monthly, select this option. In addition to the time sent, you can choose to send on a specific date of each month (e.g. 12th or 13th) or on a specific day (e.g. second Tuesday).
Recipients Type the email address(es) for those you wish to receive the report and click Enter. If you've selected Private, you can only add CounselLink users. If you've selected Public, you can add external email addresses. - Click Save. The subscription will automatically become active.
Activating or Deactivating a Subscription
Once created, a subscription is active by default. You can deactivate it if you don’t want it to run temporarily without deleting it.
Only the subscription owner can activate or deactivate it.
- Click on My Profile under your name to open your profile page.
- Click the vertical three-dotted icon in the corner.

Select Manage Subscriptions.
The Manage Subscriptions page displays.
- Select the box next to the subscription(s).
- Click Activate or Deactivate.
- A confirmation window will display. Click Activate or Deactivate to confirm.
Editing a Subscription
You can make changes to existing subscriptions.
Only the subscription owner can activate or deactivate it.
- Click on My Profile under your name to open your profile page.
- Click the vertical three-dotted icon in the corner.

Select Manage Subscriptions.
The Manage Subscriptions page displays.

Select the box next to the subscription you wish to edit.
- Click the Edit button. The Edit Subscription window displays with the subscription's existing information.
- Perform the change(s) you wish to make.
- Click Save.
