Release Date: February 27, 2026
Updates
-
Customers with the selective publishing feature enabled will have the Manage Publishing page available for their matter custom data fields. Selective Publishing gives administrators greater visibility and control over configuration changes before they go live. With it enabled, administrators can selectively publish specific updates while leaving others unpublished, enabling multiple users to work on customizations without interfering with each other. Changes are grouped by dependencies, making it easier to review what will be published together.
The selective publishing enhancement will release in phases. Reach out to Customer Care to learn more about the exact release date for your account.
- The Invoice Charge Level Summarization and UCDF Summarization features are now available to CounselLink+ customers that have enabled LexisNexis Protégé™.
- The Invoice Charge Level Summary provides AI-generated analysis at the individual billing entry (charge-line) level, delivering more granular visibility into invoice activity. This helps automate charge line analysis and uncover common billing guideline violations.
- Matter Summarization now includes an "Additional Information" section. It displays custom matter data directly into the AI-generated matter summary. This summarization offers more complete insight into matters and client-specific workflows.
-
Clients who have configured a workflow task to time out can now view workflow task expiration dates directly on the Invoice Search page. Apply the Workflow Task Expires option as a filter or column.
-
Clients who use the Fee Offer Negotiation feature can now see comments from the law firm on negotiated rates.
When users perform multiple actions (i.e. negotiate/reject) on resubmitted timekeepers, those actions previously generated separate emails. Now, if multiple actions are taken within 10 minutes of each other, they will be consolidated into a single email notification.
Resolved Issues
- 2625484 - Client reported errors when using custom data APIs to update a URL field. The API validations were validating the display width of the field instead of the maximum width. This has been resolved so that it validates the maximum width.
- 2705055 - Clients reported issues when editing custom data on matters or invoices. This has been resolved so that custom fields with large amounts of options can be validated without error.
